 Love the charm, cute enough for someone to stealNov 30, 2010

I bought the charms for my 6 year old daughter and I a few years back from a local jeweler. It is the same charm. I cannot comment on the chain; (I purchased wheat chains at that time b/c the charm didn't come with any) I will say that most of the time, chains that come with charms are somewhat cheap, and I usually put the charm on one of my other chains. We both loved it, and wore it often! As far as the charm goes, the only thing I can tell you that the description does not is that it is thinner, maybe, than it looks and why the previous reviewer didn't like it. It's not super thin and weak or cheap. It's just not real thick. Like I said, my 6 year old wore it a lot. She was devastated when an airport employee stole hers from inside our luggage, so it's cute enough for someone to steal. I am fortunate to have found the same charm again. I would recommend this charm, and although I haven't seen the chain it comes on yet, I would recommend you get a quality chain to wear it on, or use one you already own. In my experience, wheat chains tend to be stronger and more durable. I also recommend that you never keep ANY of your jewelry in luggage that will be checked in.

This was a really great idea for my mother and I, but its cheaply made. Looks nice on the screen but isnt a good quality product. The chains that they come with are also crappy.

I hate to write negative reviews. When I first received this charm, to my surprise it came as one piece. Pulling it apart would only result in rough edges, which could not be worn. Disappointed, I telephoned the company by the phone number asking their suggestion. There was a number listed on a card with a note inside my shipment (that boasted about their excellent customer service). After a couple of weeks of no reply I wrote my first similar review. After that, I received a phone call asking me to remove my negative review and return the damaged item, which I did. The representative confirmed my address and said I would receive a replacement. As of this date, I have not received another call suggesting this item was out of stock/a replacement charm.
